SUNY at Buffalo

The State University of New York at Buffalo is a sprawling thirteen hundred acre campus with 130 buildings and an interstate highway cutting through the center. Expansive parking lots and a complex system of roadways required an effective wayfinding program. We created a series of entry “gateways” using familiar architectural materials such as limestone, brick and painted metal, and developed a uniform sign program across multiple campuses for implementation over multiple years.
